SUMMARY:

Pending budget approval, candidates are being sought for a full time tenure track faculty position in the Nursing Department at Niagara University. A doctorally prepared nurse who preferably has clinical and teaching expertise in pediatric nursing is sought for newly expanding BS program.  A candidate is desired who demonstrates excellence in teaching, active scholarly research interest and service to university and community initiatives.  As this new program is being launched, a visionary person who is creative, collaborative, flexible and enthusiastic is desired.  Experience in program development is desired.  The following criteria specify the desired qualifications:

Ph.D., Ed.D. or other health field related doctoral degree with a Master's of Science in a Nursing specialty area, preferably pediatric related;
NYS professional nurse licensure (RN);
University level teaching experience;
Clinical experience in pediatric nursing preferred;
National certification in specialty area desired.
