The Computer & Information Sciences Department seeks an outstanding candidate who values our mission and shares our commitment to academic excellence and ethical values.  The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent degree; ABDs with completion no later than August 15 will also be considered.

The desired candidate will have at least one (1) year of undergraduate college/university level teaching experience.  Preference will be given to applicants with Mobile Application Development expertise.  Candidates with experience in Web Development (.php, Java etc) may also be considered.

The faculty member may be asked to instruct students in any combination of the following subject areas:

   Web Development
   Mobile application development,
   Data Management
   Specialized and general areas of a broad field of statistics utilizing the IBM statistical suite and/or other computer related technologies.

The candidate must have experience in and ability to:

      Teach complex, technical subjects in an enjoyable, engaging format that is understandable to students.

      Demonstrated ability and experience to develop curriculum at the college level.

      Proven research record in one or more of the areas above.

      Experience in advisement and mentoring students.

      Ability to maintain proper teacher-student relationship.

      Sound professional judgment.

      Initiative and resourcefulness.
