The Accounting Department at Niagara University invites applications for a full time, tenure track faculty position in accounting at the Assistant Professor rank, beginning in Fall 2013.
Home to 600 undergraduate and 275 graduate business students, the College of Business Administration has long-standing AACSB accreditation. Accounting offers graduate and undergraduate programs, including a 150-hour CPA licensure qualifying degree in professional accountancy, and a minor in Forensics Accounting.

The successful candidates must have a master’s degree in business or accounting and an undergraduate degree in accounting. A minimum of 5 years of significant professional experience and an active accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is required. Candidates should demonstrate success and excellence in teaching. In addition, success in the area of scholarly research will be required for advancement and tenure. A primary emphasis in health care administration, taxation, and/or Accounting Information Systems (AIS) is preferred, and other areas of accounting expertise will be considered.
