SUMMARY:

The Accounting Department at Niagara University invites applications for a full time, tenure track faculty position in Accounting at the Assistant Professor rank, beginning in Fall 2014.

Home to 600 undergraduate and 275 graduate business students, the College of Business Administration has long-standing AACSB accreditation. Its MBA program was recently named in the Top Tier in North America and global best 150 by CEO magazine. This combination of outstanding quality and small size fosters close student-faculty relationships permeating all aspects of instruction, research, and service.  Accounting offers graduate and undergraduate programs, including a 150-hour CPA licensure qualifying degree in professional accountancy, and a minor in Forensics Accounting.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Accounting or an equivalent degree. All areas of specialization will be considered with preference for healthcare administration, accounting information systems, auditing, and/or international accounting. Candidates should demonstrate success or the potential for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. A professional accounting certification is preferred. All applicants must be Academically Qualified under AACSB standards. ABD’s will be considered for tenure-track position but PhD must be conferred by 1/15/2016 for continuing employment
