Under general supervision, the Admissions Advisor is responsible for the coordination, development and execution of undergraduate recruitment. The Admissions Advisor is primarily responsible for recruitment in a designated geographical or functional area. In addition, they will be expected to assist in the day to day operations of the Operation team, assist in maintaining the admissions website and work closely with the Associate Director of Alumni/Volunteer Engagement to develop and implement new recruitment strategies.
- Conduct daily interviews of prospective
students; and establish regular communications with same;
- Must satisfy pre-determined performance
objectives, and effectively communicate proposed actions to obtain increased
enrollment and address deficiencies.
- Must have and maintain an unblemished
employment record without any disciplinary action, poor performance evaluation,
or any unprofessional conduct at one’s current or previous employers.
- Meet with prospective students and their parents
and explain the advantages of a Catholic, Vincentian education at Niagara
- Counsel prospective students and families on the

75% Recruitment travel, tele-counseling, interviews, follow-up contacts, attend college information programs, high school and community college visit, competitor analysis, oversight of web-content, conduct Saturday appointments and participate in promotional events.
25% Act as a liaison for updating the admissions web site, work with the Associate Director of Alumni/volunteer Engagement, assist the associate director with admissions literature especially those items that has digital applications.

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of three years’ experience with college admissions, secondary education or a related professional experience is required, with proven customer service experience.
3. A valid New York State driver’s license is required that satisfies both University and insurance company underwriting rules and regulations for driving a motor vehicle. Must also be able to operate a motor vehicle in Canada.
