The School of Nursing at Niagara University invites
applications for an Assistant Professor (tenure track) for the fall 2019. The area of specialization is in
Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses (3 courses per
semester), an active program of research, and service to the university, the
profession, and the community.
Required qualifications include a PH.D., Ed.D. or other
health field research doctoral degree with a M.S.in a nursing specialty area, current and unencumbered New
York State professional licensure (RN).
Clinical experience and national certification in the specialty area are
also preferred. Candidate should
demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching and research. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary
nurse educator to creatively participate in shaping the future of nursing
education at the baccalaureate level.

simulation center as well as a nursing skills lab.All nursing programs at Niagara are CCNE-accredited and
