The School of Nursing at Niagara
University invites applications for an instructor position in order to expand
its academic team in baccalaureate nursing.
The instructor position at Niagara is a one year non-tenure track,
renewable upon review by both parties annually.
The position includes teaching of undergraduate courses which may be
classroom, clinical, or a combination.
The chosen candidate will be expected to plan and deliver course
content, assign grades, attend faculty meetings, participate in advisement, and
hold office hours consistent with the faculty contract.
Candidates are being sought who
hold an unencumbered professional nurse license from New York State Office of Professions, have a Master’s degree in a
nursing specialty (Ph.D. preferred), and appropriate clinical experience and
expertise. Candidates with prior
teaching experience in the classroom setting are strongly preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for an
experienced nurse with an area of clinical expertise to join an academic
environment with a growing program and dynamic faculty team.
The School of Nursing is
