The Management Department at Niagara University invites applications for part-time, adjunct instructors with the expertise needed to teach either or both of the following courses, starting in the Spring 2020 semester:


MGT390: Information Systems for Business (Undergrad) – Provides a foundation in the management of information systems (MIS) and how these systems support decision making.  Covers the use of databases, Excel’s decision support tools and Visio, as well as developing a website and utilizing Tableau and other tools for data visualization.


MGT351: Advanced Excel and Business Modeling (Undergrad) – Focuses on the use of general and specific information analysis software tools to for conducting quantitative business analysis.  Covers the use of sophisticated Excel functions, automating spreadsheets with macros and VBA, and the use of power tools for large data manipulation and analysis.


Prepare and hold in-person classes 1-3 times (depending on scheduled time slot) weekly on Niagara University’s main campus in Lewiston.  Grade assessments (papers, exams, etc) and provide timely feedback to students.


Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a related area, as well as five years of related work and/or teaching experience.  Alternatively, a candidate may qualify with a Ph.D. or related terminal degree.  While not required, daytime availability is highly valuable.
