SUMMARY:

Niagara University’s Department of Modern and Classical Languages invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Spanish position, beginning August 2020. The area of specialization is any field of Latin American Literature, with a preference for 20th Century. The candidate should have a strong commitment to teaching at all levels of language, literature and culture at a liberal arts university. Native or near native fluency in Spanish required. PhD in hand before the beginning of the fall semester 2020 also required. 

Responsibilities include: teaching a 3-3 load; working collaboratively in the department, across the colleges, and with the community to grow and continually improve the Spanish program; and participating actively in departmental and university affairs.
