SUMMARY:

The Theatre department has an opening for an Adjunct professor to teach Theory and Musicianship I & II for the Fall 2020 semester. These courses focus on basic music theory and sight singing for BFA theatre performance majors. 


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Evidence of knowledge of music theory pedagogy.

Evidence of keyboard competence.

Thorough knowledge of subject matter.

Ability to maintain proper teacher-student relationship.

Sound professional judgment.

Initiative and resourcefulness.


QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Master’s degree in related field (e.g. MM or MFA)
