The Management Department at Niagara
University invites applications for a full time, tenure-track faculty position
at the Assistant Professor rank, beginning in August 2021.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have
a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management, Management with a background/specialty in
Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent degree. The ability to teach in a secondary area such
as Analytics, MIS or OM would also be valuable. To support online options, a
proven ability to teach in that format is strongly preferred. Candidates should
demonstrate success or the potential for excellence in teaching, scholarship,
and service. ABDs will be considered for tenure-track position, but Ph.D.
conferral within a specified time frame will be required for continuing
employment. Salary and benefits are
AACSB competitive (3/3 teaching load and travel/faculty development support).
Job
Duties
As a tenure-track faculty member, the hired candidate
will be required to teach three courses in each of the fall and spring
semesters, publish impactful scholarly research and participate in service
(committees, advisement, etc.) to the department, college and university.
Attendance at periodic meetings and holding regular office hours will also be expected.
The courses assigned will primarily be in supply chain management – though, may
include other areas as department needs dictate – at the undergraduate and/or
graduate levels, and in any of traditional (face-to-face), accelerated and
online formats. The position is also expected to support the college’s Center
for Supply Chain Excellence.
